Road Trip: Day 1

Friday - October 24th, 2014

Goodbye red rocks!

We stopped at Little America for a bathroom break and an ice cream cone. We were pleasantly surprised to find a playground.  

Russell, like Charlie, does not particularly like the feel of the grass on his skin. But he sure is cute! 

Happy to be out of her crate. 

 While I was sitting outside with Russell and Lady (Charlie and Chad were in getting ice cream), someone asked walked by and said "How old?" Assuming they were asking about the baby, I said "Oh, 5 months. Wait, were you asking about the dog or the baby?" "The dog." Okaaayyy…. "4 years."

We got back on the road and headed for Laramie.

 We toured the U.S via Motel6 because they are cheap and pet friendly.

Motel6 in Laramie. Surprisingly, it was pretty nice. (Okay, decent) Little did we know, it would only be downhill from here.

Sooo glad to be out of the car.

First night in a hotel in a long time. He thought it was great. And he got to share a bed with daddy, so he was happy.

Russell was happy to stretch out. Being in the car seat all day is rough.
