Wedding!

On March 29th, Stephen got married!! Luckily, the color was dark blue, so Charlie already had an appropriate outfit. We had lots of fun hanging out with Chad's family in Rexburg, but Charlie was exhausted by the end of the evening.

Hamming it up for the camera.

Cousins!
Waiting for them to come out of the temple with Uncle Christian.
Congratulations Stephen and Mary Kate! (Announcement Chad made for their receptions)

Picture Post - March

Here's some pictures of our goings-on lately.

Playground at McCowin Park

Chad bought Charlie an Angry Birds sticker book at Walmart one day. We tried really hard to keep him from finding out they were stickers and not just pictures. But one day, when I came home from work, the babysitter had peeled some off. That was the end of that. And then began this phase of sticking stickers all over his (and our) face.

Michael's Famous!!

(From an internet article, not the magazine article)
Michael did a lot of work with Healthcare.gov that I don't quite understand, but apparently he did a good job. He made the internets and the non-internets! And I am proud of him. And I think he's super awesome, especially given that "The West Wing" is pretty much my favorite show ever. I wanted to brag about him at work, but this is Idaho. (Although my OB was pretty excited to know someone who knows someone on the cover of Time magazine. (We got to talking because he was going to take a trip to Washington, D.C. as the president of some organization of doctors or something to attend meetings about women's healthcare....))

I took Charlie out to find the magazine but I was about a week too early. Chad went out later while I was at work, and found it at Barnes and Noble in Idaho Falls. He bought 4 copies.

Congratulations Daddy!

Chad found out that he rated in the top salesmen for his company from October through the end of February!! That means that he gets to go to "President's Club" - a fancy all-expense paid business getaway to reward their top employees. This year it will be in Park City and include skiing, snowmobiling, good food and lots of free stuff. But, it is the exact same weekend as my trip to Disneyland with the band. I guess it's okay - I wouldn't be able to go skiing or snowmobiling anyway. Instead I'll be stressing out about taking 30+ teenagers to Disneyland.

We are Number 1!!

Picture Post

Chad always gets my blog published for my birthday, so this post will serve primarily as a really easy version of a scrapbook. Charlie has been adorable, as always. These are just some random pictures from around the house the last couple of months. Because we know life won't always be this simple.
Saturday morning.
This is what Charlie looks like when he thinks you're about to eat his pudding.

"Stuck! Stuck!" In a drawer with his pounding bench.
Watching Elmo with Elmo.
Taking Lady for a walk.
Time for a selfie!
One night Charlie wouldn't let me change his diaper. So I put it on Lady instead.

Can't get enough of Turbo!
