4th of July

I was supposed to do the 4th of July parade, but apparently word got around that I was leaving. Or something... Sending out the schedule in April (knowing that I could possibly be out for the last few weeks of school) was apparently too early. We were supposed to have rehearsals on the 2nd and 3rd, but a total of 9 kids showed up.  We sat around and ate a lot of pizza, since I ordered 6 pizzas each day to feed the hypothetical students that showed up for rehearsal. It was fun to visit with the kids that did come by. We decided not to participate in the parade with so few students. I was disappointed I wouldn't get to perform with the kids one last time, but excited to have a 4th of July to spend as a family before we officially leave east Idaho.

Running through the Fight Song for old time's sake.
Hanging out at school one last time.
Ironically, the Google doodle for the 4th of July was a marching band.

So we went to the parade in Rexburg, came home and had naps, and then ate hot dogs and played games at our house. We lit up some fireworks before Charlie went to bed, and that was about it.
