Update

Just so you know - we got Germaine working again, and all seems to be well for a while.

Also - are you sitting down? - this may be a shocker - but - we bought a dog. Well, we put a deposit on a dog.
Call it a replacement for Pig-Pig or a substitute for a baby or a guard dog or whatever you want to call it - but before you judge us, just look at her!

Who could walk away from a face like that?!

It's a bad picture - but you can look up others online. She's a Toy Australian Shepherd and we get to bring her home next Friday. She'll grow up to be less than 13" tall.

MEGAN!!! Are you out of your mind? Do you really want to ruin all the carpet and doors in the house you hope to sell in a few years? It will be miserable while you and Chad are both at work. And the vet bills will be hundreds of dollars if you actually take it to the vet. And if you want to go somewhere, you have to find someone to take care of it. Do you really want that? Honestly, I think you should give it more thought!

Well just wait till you come home one day to find the leg chewed off your new piano due to a very energetic dog being home alone and bored. Or you decide it would be fun to take off on a spontaneous weekend trip. Oh, can't do that. No one to watch the dog. Or will you be one of those who carries your dog around in your purse?

I think she is adorable! And as a substitute baby you can always put up gates in the house to keep her contained :). She looks like a good replacement for pig-pig as they look to be about the same size.

Ha Ha Ha...I just told the boys "Guess what...Aunt Meggy and Uncle Chad bought a dog." Will's response was: "A dog? It might poop in their house."

Sure, get a cute adorable little puppy AFTER I leave... along with buying a nice roomy house.

That puppy better be coming home for Christmas. And I expect more pictures.

(Also, a big [like what your friends had for their guinea pigs] crate could contain a puppy during the day. And you better look into training it [like not letting it on your bed or furniture] because I hear "small dog syndrome" is obnoxious.)
