Hello dear readers.
The other day, I was cleaning up the house when Chad got home from work. He was walking by the bathroom, so I asked him to hand me my towel that was in there, so I could replace it with a clean one. He says "Ooh - identical towels!"
At which point he admits that for the 2+ years we've been married, he never knew I had two of the exact same towel. (The embroidered ones mom gave us) He thought I was just using the same one over and over and over again.
... I wonder if he knows I have a twin...
I'm glad / At least in my life / I've found someone / That may not be here forever / To see me through / But I found strength in you / Cause in my mind / You will stay here always / In love you and I / In my mind / We can conquer the world / In love you and I

Calling all Readers!
Hello everyone!
I need your help with easy potato recipes.
A while back, some guy pulled up to the house while we were out doing yard work. He started talking to us like he knew us, so we felt obligated to buy some of his potatoes. When he left, he made a comment about how he knew we'd want some potatoes this year since we bought some last year. That's when the jig was up. He thought we were the same people who lived here last year, and came to sell us his wares. I swear he was just driving around looking for people outside to talk into buying some potatoes.
Anyway, so we have a box of potatoes in the basement that I don't know what to do with, besides eat baked potatoes, and that gets old after awhile. We were thinking about chopping up some of them and putting them in the freezer for instant hashbrowns.... would that work?
Recipes Wanted!
Please reply.
P.S. I don't know if it shows up on your computer, but on my computer, there's a little white dot in the middle of the ocean on my "Visitor Map" to the right. I wonder who is checking up on me from the middle of nowhere.

Beep Beep ba-Beep - This Just In
Saturday evening, we decided to move around some furniture in the front room. The room is awkwardly wide with the door right in the middle of the wall, so the furniture (along the walls) is awkwardly far apart. So we tried to rearrange (unsuccessfully - because something didn't fit where we wanted it to by 1/2 inch.). In trying to move grandma's couch, I kicked it by accident, and nabbed by toenail. My big toe nail bent backwards and ripped along one side. Bet I made ya cringe just now.
Anyway, I quickly bandaged it up because I didn't want to look at it anymore, and I'm hoping it will grow itself out and I won't have to touch it. *shudder* Gross.

Hello friends,
I have to get back to my weeds, but for your viewing pleasure, I thought I'd provide a picture of the bedspread we just bought.
I did the laundry yesterday and was finally fed up with the fact that nothing on our bed matches. The sheets were baby blue, the duvet cover was tan striped over a pink comforter, with matching shams, but then my pillow case was orange and Chad's were black.
I wanted something colorful since we don't have anything in this whole house (except maybe my KitchenAid and dishes) that has ANY color. We've wanted to paint, but haven't committed to anything because our furniture is all mismatched anyway. So I settled on a bedspread.
We don't have the shams yet because they're $13.50 each!
There were some others I liked, but they were too expensive.
I know... You should come see it IN PERSON! Wouldn't that be fun?!!
But, as I said before, I have to get back to my weeds. Have a good Saturday!
